ABBA Oro: Grandes Éxitos is a greatest hits compilation album by ABBA, first released by Polydor in the United States in 1992, in which the songs are sung in Spanish. This album is the Spanish equivalent of their Gold: Greatest Hits album, originally released as Gracias Por La Música in early 1980. It was certified Gold in Argentina. Oro was followed by ABBA Mas Oro: Mas ABBA Exitos ABBA More Gold: More ABBA Hits in 1994 which included five English-language versions plus further tracks in Spanish. Originally released at ten songs and then expanded to 15, ABBA Oro was a repackaging of Gracias Por La Musica, a ten-song LP that, in turn, grew out of the group's long-delayed cracking of the South American market in 1979, with a Spanish-language version of Chiquitita. Album 1999 15 Songs. More ABBA Gold. 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of ABBA. The Essential Collection. The Visitors. Abba Oro - Grandes Exitos is basically the upgraded version of their 1980 Spanish album Gracias Por La Musica. All ten tracks from that original release are featured here along with the earlier spanish version of Ring Ring and four tracks recorded after the original album release.
