Boogie Woogie Blues - Albert Ammons. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей. An Albert Ammons' medium-paced Boogie Woogie - sheet music is available. Ammons' version is a masterpiece which I listened to again and again for years Ammons And His Rhythm Kings: Margie, Mr Bell Boogie, Boogie Woogie Stomp и другие песни. Albert Clifton Ammons March 1, 1907 December 2, 1949 was an American pianist and player of boogie-woogie, a bluesy jazz style popular from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. Ammons was born in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were pianists, and he had learned to play by the age of ten. His interest in boogie-woogie is attributed to his close friendship with Meade Lux Lewis and also his father's interest in the style. Both Albert and Meade would practice together on the piano in the Ammons household. Albert Ammons was a superb stride and swing pianist as well as a master of the blues and an archetypal boogie-woogie ace. Living Era's Albert Ammons tribute album presents a precise chronological survey spanning a little more than ten years, from February 13, 1936, to July 2, 1946. This robust compilation contains some of his very best recordings - as a soloist as a collaborator in league with Pete Johnson and Meade Lux Lewis as temporal and tonal ballast alongside Big Sid Catlett among the Port of Harlem Jazzmen in a quartet with trumpeter Harry James in cahoots with voc.
