Album
Blood on the Bricks is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aldo Nova, for which he signed to Jon Bon Jovi's Jambco Records. It was his first album in 6 years. The album featured fewer outside writers than his previous record, Twitch. The songs were mostly written by Nova and Jon Bon Jovi, with help from Jim Vallance and Rick Hughes of Canadian metal band Sword. All songs written by Aldo Nova and Jon Bon Jovi, except where noted. After a six-year absence, pop-metal pioneer Aldo Nova released Blood on the Bricks in 1991. His self-imposed exile occurred after his unhappiness with 1985's Twitch. It's a bit ironic that Nova, whose splendid self-titled 1982 debut album and single Fantasy were hits, had to return with the help of Jon Bon Jovi. Nova helped lay the foundation for the superbly crafted pop-metal sound that Bon Jovi rode to superstardom. Bon Jovi and Nova co-produced the album and co-wrote eight of the ten songs. Чуть позже Бон Джови подписал Нову к своему лейблу JAMBCO и спродюсировал его камбэк, Blood On The Bricks. Джон также помог в написании львиной доли материала и исполнил вокальные партии на 9 из 10 треков. Songs in album Aldo Nova - Blood On The Bricks 1991. Aldo Nova - Blood On The Bricks. He had been largely absent as a solo artist since his 1985 album Twitch also fantastic, also underrated, but remained active as a songwriter and producer. For this album, Nova was assisted by none other than Jon Bon Jovi, who provided songwriting support, backing vocals and even a record label. Bass duties were handled by future American Idol judge Randy Jackson. Not surprisingly, Blood on the Bricks has a lot in common with the arena-rocking Bon Jovi albums that came out around that time. I also hear similarities to bands like Bad Engl. He released an album Aldo Nova in 1982 which had a two hit singles with Fantasy and Foolin' Yourself. He worked with Jon Bon Jovi in the late 1980s with the album Blood on the Bricks, becoming the first album from the newly formed JAMBCO records, Blood on the Bricks was released to moderate acceptance in 1990, followed by a tour.
