Many years in the making, Es Tiempo is the debut album by Chicago buzz band Alla. Chicago-based indie rock veteran Jorge Ledezma spent years behind mixing boards, resurrecting half-finished songs from his previous project, Defender, and re-configuring them at multiple studios. El Tiempo es Oro Time Is Gold is the third studio album by Mexican pop singer Paulina Rubio, released simultaneously on 21 March 1995 by EMI Music in 18 countries. It was recorded in the autumn and winter of 1994 in Madrid, Spain. In contrast to her previous studio albums, Miguel Blasco were the primary producers of the album, but featured new producers and collaborations including Marco Flores, Adrián Posse and Claudio Bermúdez. At the age of twenty-three at the time, Rubio started to become. The band's debut album Es Tiempo Its Time is apparently the culmination of four years work in various venues, including John McEntire's Soma Electronic Studios. Perhaps unsurprisingly then, parts of this album suggest the influence of his post-rock ensemble Tortoise, most obviously El Movimiento, and the stumbling percussion and saturated sounds of Tú y yO, which closes with an intriguing blitz of electronic effects. With its surging string and brass arrangements, Un Pedazo reflects the space jazz experiments of Chris Bowden, with an additional nod to Milton Nascimento. We attempted to follow up that epic endeavor and changed our direction completely as artists do sometimes.
