Assjack is the self-titled debut album from hardcore punkheavy metal band Assjack. It was released on August 4, 2009. Lead singer Hank Williams III performed, wrote, and produced the album on his own from his home studio in Berry Hill, Tennessee. All music written and performed by Hank Williams III. Reminiscent in spots of his previous Florida death metal band Hellbilly, Assjack even sports a few melodies amongst the chaos. Wasting Away pummels with the usual carpal-tunnel inducing riffage and the cookie monster vocals that permeate everything, but they break down for memorable vocal lines and set the pace for other juggernauts of modern metal.
