Its original cover art was to feature a topless woman laying in a field, but three months before the albums release, a 16-year old female fan was raped and murdered by a recently paroled janitor who worked at the venue where Atmosphere was performing, prompting the duo to abandon the concept. The album was the duos first of six consecutive albums to peak in the top half of Billboards Album Chart between 2003 and 2016.
