Album

Where Am I Going is from the 1966 Broadway musical Sweet Charity, written by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields. It was recorded by Barbra Streisand as part. Where Am I Going was the A-side of the single Streisand released. Cy Coleman told writer Lynn Ahrens that Sweet Charity leading lady Gwen Verdon wanted to cut the number because she said she was already dancing too much and was too tired. I think the true reason was that she didn't like the idea that Barbra Streisand had already recorded it before the show opened, and people might make comparisons. For years, You Wanna Bet was only available on 7-inch vinyl because Streisand never put it on an album. She finally released a digital version of it on her 1991 compilation album, Just For the Record. Billboard Charts. I Am Woman. Where Am I Going This song is by Barbra Streisand and appears on the album Color Me Barbra 1966. Where am I going And what will I find What's in this grab bag That I cal I my mind What am I doing Alone on the shelf Ain't it a shame, But no one's to blame but myself. Which way is clear When you've lost your way Year after year Do I keep falling in love for just a kick of it Staggering through the thin and thick of it, Hating each old, tired trick of it, Know what I am, I'm good and sick of it
