Japan-for-U.S. Varèse Sarabande CD pressing, released contemporaneously with their LP configuration (STV 81330), recorded at Abbey Road Studios by The Sinfonia Of London, composed by Basil Poledouris and conducted by Howard Blake & Tony Britton . The packaging features a four-page booklet, with two black-and-white photos from the film on the interior pages, and color front and back covers, the former featuring a reproduction of the original one-sheet poster, and the latter featuring a color photo from the film.

The inlay card mistakenly credits Laservideo Inc. as the disc manufacturer (a common occurrence amongst other contemporaneous Varèse Sarabande CD releases, as manufacturing had shifted to them from Victor Musical Industries, Inc. by this point; but for some reason, this particular release was manufactured by the latter according to both the Matrix / Runout information and the CD label, and has therefore been credited as such as per [g1.7.5.]!), and also mistitles Track 10 as "Clarance Frags Bob"; and the CD label mistitles Track 4 as "The Rock Shop" -- the former hasn't been corrected for the Tracklist, but the correct version of the latter has been included there, both as per [g1.7.3.].
