Relentless is a live album by stand-up comedian and satirist Bill Hicks. It was his second CD release, and his last one before his death from pancreatic cancer in February 1994. The film version was recorded at the Centaur Theatre during the annual Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Due to the great success of Dangerous in the UK, coming in on the heels of Hicks' breakthrough performance at the 1990 Just for Laughs festival and his sold-out tour of Britain, Invasion Records wanted to put out a follow-up album as soon as they possibly could. In lieu of an advance, the label gave Hicks a DAT recorder to use on the road.
