Justaguyfriend's channel doesn't allow uploads over-15 minute so I'm putting this on my channel. But, so you know, this video is courtesy of is a compilation album by Scottish rock band Bis. It is a collection of non-album tracks plus one new song as a gift to the American market. It was released on both CD and 12 vinyl. The compilation collects material from the Everybody Thinks That They're Going to Get Theirs, Kandy PopSweet Shop Avengerz, Sweet Shop Avengerz singles as well as Kid Cut, a one-sided 7 single given out at gigs in Glasgow and London, and tracks from the band's splits with Heavenly and Lugworm. Bis doesn't break any new ground here, turning out more takes on neo-'80s pop complete with layman's drum machines, cheesy keyboards, and innocently ranting choruses that showcase their school spirit. But their gift for a golden melody can't be argued, as Famous proves when lead cheerleader Manda Rin lets her vocals, laced with attitude and cutie-pie theatrics, casts an air of optimistic whimsy that makes even the hollow demo take sound radio friendly.
