Presence Of Faith were an English supergroup featuring Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech, active in mostly 1969. They were eagerly anticipated by the music press as a continuation of Clapton and Baker's former group Cream and Winwood's former group Traffic, but they split after one album and tour. The group originated with informal jamming by Clapton and Winwood in early 1969 following the break-ups of Cream and Traffic. Baker joined them in rehearsals and they decided to form a group. Blind Faith were an English blues rock band, composed of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech. The band, which was one of the first supergroups, released their only album, Blind Faith, in August 1969. Their backing band was similar to the one at Madison Square Garden, with Ian Thomas replaced by Abe Laboriel Jr. and backing vocalists Michelle John and Sharon White added. The former Blind Faith bandmates ran their third European tour from 18 May to 13 June 2010 with drummer Steve Gadd. Had to Cry Today ignites the set sounding like late 1969 Blind Faith right down to the vintage guitar tone, swirling Hammond organ, and Winwoods unaged voice. A tastefully arranged horn section playing under Winwoods soulful singing gives Buddy Miles Them Changes a Spencer Davis Group vibe. The album rocks with bottom-heavy authority as the last five songs play the strongest. A sweeping take on Hendrixs Little Wing and the slow burn of his Voodoo Chile sound amazing back-to-back. And the only thing keeping Cant Find My Way Home from sounding 100 percent authentic is the absence
