In 2011 Buried Horses released their debut album, Tempest. Tempest reads like a nightmarish travel diary that has neither temporal nor geographical boundaries. The album was recorded with Loki Lockwood at Atlantis Studios during some epic all-night sessions which saw the band pushed to their physical and mental limits. In the coming months they will settle into their new home at Spooky Records and tread the boards with many of their esteemed stable-mates. Recorded live in June 2012 at The Theatre Royal, Castlemaine. Buried Horses' debut album, 'Tempest', is out now on is the debut studio album by American musician Patti Smith, released on November 10, 1975, on Arista Records. Smith, a fixture of the then-burgeoning New York punk rock music scene, began recording Horses with her band in 1975 after being signed to Arista Records, with John Cale being enlisted to produce the album. With its fusion of simplistic rock and roll structures and Smith's freeform, Beat poetry-infused lyrics, Horses was met with widespread critical acclaim upon its initial release.
