Tago Mago is the second studio album by the German experimental rock band Can, and was originally released as a double LP in 1971 by United Artists. It was the band's first studio album to feature Kenji Damo Suzuki after their previous vocalist, Malcolm Mooney, quit the band in 1970 due to a nervous breakdown. Tago Mago has been described as Can's most extreme record in terms of sound and structur. Tago Mago is the third album by the German krautrock band, Can. It was originally released on United Artists Records. In conversation with Terrascope, Holger Czukay Bass player and co-founder of Can said: Tago Mago is a magical work. Before Jaki came to Can, he was trying to commit suicide. He was playing with Chet Baker in Barcelona, as a jazz drummer. Then he went to Ibiza. And south of this island is a rock called Tago Mago. Mago means magic, and Tago was the name of a magic master who lived there. And Jaki was on that rock and tried to spring down because he thought his life. Tago Mago is that rarity of the early '70s, a double album without a wasted note, ranging from sweetly gentle float to full-on monster grooves. Paperhouse starts things brilliantly, beginning with a low-key chime and beat, before amping up into a rumbling roll in the midsection, then calming down again before one last blast. Both Mushroom and Oh Yeah, the latter with Schmidt filling out the quicker pace with nicely spooky keyboards, continue the fine vibe. Покупайте и продавайте винил и компакт-диски, формируйте. It seems like a pretty straight forward song until around , when hypnotic drums enter with a bang and carefully spun guitars start to draw you in.
