Choking Victim “No Gods / No Victims” is a product of the 80’s.
If you think that you can handle true punk & squat shit then check out these real N.Y.C. underground bands: Apox, The Dregs, Banji, Disease, Public Nuisance, Spyder Cunts, Distraught, Molitov Cocktail, The Omegamen, Evacuate, The Plungers, King Grouch, and last but especially not least Brooklyn’s own Asstroland!!!! Reprazent! East-Syyyyyyyyde!!!
In the booklet, there is a 3-paragraph letter saying to please support the Zapistas in Chapas, Mexico; take heed of political injustice and police brutality; the USA is full of shit and should shove it’s “freedom, liberty, and justice for all” up its rich-people-only ass; and fuck the police. Dated: 6/2/1998

Next to the letter, there is another letter written backwards, which takes a bit to decipher. Here it is:
(First part concerns the hidden track)
Esquire sucks dick. Lick ass and goodnight.
Oh, and this record goes out to all them bitches in the squats and to all them bitches at the Dog Run in Tompkins Square Park, and to all the bitches in all the Dog Runs around the whole fucking world.
Choking Victim’s here to bring the pain to the new Millennium. We have come with a charismatic leader who will unite the earth under a one-world government with a cashless society and all that creepy terror, so be good to us and thou shalt be rewarded, but fuck with us and thou shalt be fucked. And remember when we ask you to receive the mark of the beast 666 on your forehead it is purely a formality. CV666.

Choking Victim would like to give special thanks to no one!! Especially the N.Y.C. clubs and promoters who never did a damn thing for us.
C.V. would not exist without the help of Dr. John Dolan (I'm starting to get the feeling back on the left side of my face) as well as the rest of the C.V. crime family: Don Sascha Dubrul and Alec "The Biggest Boy" Baillie.
Unauthorized duplication of this record is worshipped and even celebrated in some third world countries. And it is the expressed opinion of the members of Choking V. that it is in fact Punk to bootleg records, and the fact that it is looked down upon as "illegal" makes it all the more exciting so by all means do watcha like and make a copy for a more disadvantaged music lover. 666.
As for the rest of you, thanks to all the people who have helped and supported us all along (you know who you are) and as for all the people who have ever stood in our way or hindered our lives or development as a band in any way, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you, life is long and revenge is sweet (if this worries you than it should [this is especially dedicated to all racists, rapists, sexists, homophobes, wife-beaters, and anybody who takes advantage of, hurts, and/or exploits anybody else weaker than them world-wide!!!]).
Beware The Wrath Of The Victim!!!

Album
The only full-length album for the band Choking Victim which would later become Leftover Crack. Probably one of the most hardcore Ska-Punk albums Gods, No Managers - Choking Victim. No Gods, No Managers is the only full-length studio album by American hardcore punk band Choking Victim. The album was released in 1999 through HellcatEpitaph Records and re-released on LP format by Epitaph in 2004. Being the sole full-length album of Choking Victim, they broke up immediately after recording the album, it became hugely popular in the punk scene. It inspired many nascent bands, and the band members of Choking Victim went on to form other bands, most notably Leftöver Crack. Choking Victim - No GodsNo Managers 1999. After three singles and lord knows how many years of squatting on the East Coast, Choking Victim has finally released an album on Epitaph. Of course, this doesn't mean that they'll be off the streets anytime soon, but at least they'll have that occasional royalty check coming in to pay for their beer money. So with No Gods, No Managers, the artwork is covered with blasphemous symbols that range from upside-down crosses to pentagrams to drawings of the dark lord himself. Sadly, Choking Victim broke up the first day after the recording for No Gods, No Managers. The members each went on to join different bands, most notably Leftover Crack and INDK. While you'll see this album taking a lot of heat from people who aren't fans, I and many others have to come love this album and recognize it as a definitive part the 90's punk scene. I give No Gods, No Managers a 55 for it's originality, catchiness, and socially conscious lyrics.
