Be warned: this is not the typical, power-pop release from Chris Stamey. For Improper Linear Models in Decision Making Stamey teams up with Kirk Ross for his most experimental outing to date - essentially free improvisation combined with more complex compositions for guitar. As a theoretical exercise, this may be interesting to some, but Stamey fans will most likely be confused and put off by this deviation. The usual procedure for developing linear models to predict any kind of target variable is to identify a subset of most important predictors and to estimate weights that provide the best possible solution for a given sample.
