Dylan Visceral to the very core, Jane Doe is an album that would pave the way for countless bands to come. Favorite track: Concubine. saito2. Converge's Jane Doe, for the exceptional extremity and diversity of its tracklist, has more than earned its status as one of metalcore's most hallowed free to Converge Jane Doe Concubine, Fault and Fracture and more. 12 tracks 45:15. Jane Doe is the fourth full-length studio album by American metalcore band Converge. Converge is an American metalcore band formed by vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist Kurt Ballou in Salem, Massachusetts in 1990. During the recording of their seminal fourth album Jane Doe, the group became a four-piece with the departure of guitarist Aaron Dalbec and the addition of bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. This lineup has remained intact since. They have released nine studio albums, three live albums, and numerous EPs. With the 2001 release of their fourth official studio album, Converge has put the final sealing blow on their status as a legend in the world of metallic hardcore. A relatively logical extension from the chain of events that led from Halo in a Haystack up to their split LP with Agoraphoric Nosebleed, Jane Doe seems completely watertight and flawless. Their churning, chaotic guitars are more dense and layered - fleshed out. Jane Doe wasn't released this year, but sometimes you've got to pay dues when they're owed. And Converge might not exactly be heavy metal, either. They got their start in their hometown of Boston in the early nineties, playing covers of their favorite punk and hardcore songs. The blistering fusion unit they've evolved into has been called many things- hardcore metal, math metal, metalcore- but they could be ultra-core for all I care. Let's ignore the niceties. Converge is a smart, aggressive, brutal quintet, and Jane Doe will kick your ass repeatedly until it leaves. Converge - Jane Doe review: Converge create a masterpiece with their album Jane Doe, which is an album that people who embrace it, will not forget it. Converge used a specific Jane Doe that led to an album for the ages. This album is tacky, with intelligent lyrics that create a story about a girl that once was something, and now is nothing. For instance, Fault and Fracture are the holes and gaps in the relationship in which there are the occasional fight or argument. Distance and Meaning is what happens when time is spent apart from one another and you find out more about yourself and your partner. The Broken Vows is like the promises that were made but never kept. Genre: Mathcore. Converge LP Jane doe was my first introduction to their music. I'm not to aware of much metal core acts, however this is probably the best so far. I was always aware of Kurt Ballou being a producer for a few of my favourite heavy metal bands. ConcubineFault and Fracture - Thaw ich liebe diesen Song - Heaven in Her Arms - The Broken Vow - Homewrecker Für mich einfach ein Meilenstein Pflichtkauf also für alle K
