Crack the Sky is a 1970s band from Steubenville, Ohio later adopted by Baltimore area radio which released several minor-hit albums. Their self-titled debut garnered the Album of the Year award from Rolling Stone magazine. Unfortunately, Crack the Sky remained a regional phenomenon, especially in the Baltimore area.
