Album

Move is the debut album by The Move, released on the Regal Zonophone label. The only one which was recorded by the groups initial line-up before bassist Ace Kefford left, it includes both sides of their third and fourth singles Flowers in the Rain and Fire Brigade. Flowers in the Rain was the first ever song played on Radio 1 in September 1967 by Tony Blackburn. High Country is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band the Sword. Recorded at studios in Austin, Texas and Asheville, North Carolina with producer Adrian Quesada, it was released on August 21, 2015 by Razor & Tie. The album was mixed by J. Robbins, who had previously produced The Sword's 2012 fourth studio album Apocryphon. High Country was released as a single on July 20, 2015. Town and Country is rock band Humble Pie's second album, released in November 1969 see 1969 in music. Town and Country was Humble Pie's second studio album, released in November 1969 in the UK only. Conceived at Steve Marriott's 16th-century rural cottage Arkesden in Moreton, Essex, England, Town and Country offered a different, more sensitive pastoral approach from the more straightforward heavy progressive sound prevalent on their debut album, which had been released a mere two months. The Move were a British rock band of the late 1960s and the early 1970s. They scored nine top 20 UK singles in five years, but were among the most popular British bands not to find any real success in the United States. Although bassist-vocalist Chris Ace Kefford was the original leader, for most of their career the Move was led by guitarist, singer and songwriter Roy Wood. He wrote all the group's UK singles and, from 1968, also sang lead vocals on many songs, although Carl Wayne was the main lead. Low Country is a compilation album by American hard rock band The Sword. Recorded at The Bend in Austin, Texas and The Berry in Taylor, Texas, it was produced by the band's bassist Bryan Richie and released on September 23, 2016 by Razor & Tie. The album features stripped-down acoustic recordings of ten of the 15 songs from the band's 2015 fifth studio album High Country, which were recorded shortly before the album's release, between June and August 2015. Message from the Country is the fourth and final album by the Move, as well as its only album for EMI's Harvest label. It was recorded while the band was morphing into the Electric Light Orchestra. Recorded in 197071 at the same time that the Move was also laying down tracks for the first Electric Light Orchestra album even during some of the same sessions, there are inevitably some similarities in style between the two albums, especially the heavy use of tracking up overdubbing to capture all. Country rock is a subgenre of popular music, formed from the fusion of rock and country. It was developed by rock musicians who began to record country-flavored records in the late 1960s and early 1970s. These musicians recorded rock records using country themes, vocal styles, and additional instrumentation, most characteristically pedal steel guitars. Country rock began with artists like Bob Dylan, the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Flying Burrito Brothers, The International. The band has performed a run of sell out shows at the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe for the last three years and have sold out their performances at the prestigious Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival for the last 6 years. As well as live shows, the band has had television appearances bands close vocal harmonies are close for a reason - Turnpin and Jean tied the knot in 2016 - and Turpins guitar playing is uniquely striking, modeled in part after fingerstyle shredders like Lightnin Hopkins. Her new album, Buck Up, is about two different kinds of edginess: a sexual one and political edginess. Its an expression of the fact that I dont give as much of a damn about making people comfortable as I used to. I thought there was something wrong with me that I couldnt just deal with it and move on, she says. With The Dress, I wanted to write a song that spoke to other victims in their aftermath.
