"Deluge" was originally recorded in the Winter of 2001.
"Sunder" was recorded in the Winter of 2003 and is entirely unreleased material intended as a sequel to "Deluge".
Mixed and mastered at Stereophonic Mastering in Portland Oregon.
All tracks finally remastered October of 2006 at Stereophonic Mastering.
Packaged in a gatefold sleeve with inserts, a coupon and an obi strip around the sleeve.
Edition of 350 signed and handnumbered copies.

Since 1989 he has recorded many albums that are categorized as electro-acoustic, noise music, dark ambient music, abstract, avant-garde, experimental, field recordings, drone, minimalist music, percussion and soundtrack film music. Deluge & Sunder is actually a surprising departure from previous explorations by Mr. Menche as the tones are generated by real live instruments bass guitar, accordion, piano and melodica as played by a real live Menche. The rumbly counterpoint that so well defines Menche's sensibilities is still there, but is played against, initially, a searing wall of D sharp that is built from what sounds like an extended bowing à la Stephen Scott's monofiliment attacks on piano interiors, but more as if conducted by Dumitrescu.
