The hardest, most intense Detroit techno being produced outside of the Motor City appears on Archive One, Clarke's first album for Deconstruction and a compilation of sorts from previous singles. Though the downtempo first track and hip-hop flavor of the third start things off on what many of Clarke's fans would consider the wrong foot, the album stomps from the fourth track on - and the inclusion of the A-sides of all three Red singles provides the best introduction to Clarke's crucial acid-techno fusion. This is Dave Clarkes finest production Archive One collects various singles on different Ep's most notably the legendary Red Series. What's ironic is dave clarke is anti drugs yet he has produced some of the most tripped out Techno of all time apparently the Red Series was inspired by Tronik House aka Kevin Saunderson who also released some brilliant Hardcore Techno tracks on his KMS label stand out tracks would be Wisdom To The Wise.
