Adrenaline is the debut studio album by American alternative metal band Deftones, released on October 3, 1995 by Maverick Records. The majority of the album was produced by Terry Date, while a hidden track titled Fist was produced by Ross Robinson. Regarding the recording, drummer Abe Cunningham said, At the time we did the first record which I really like and think is good you can tell the band was really young. We'd been playing most of those songs for quite a while, and we were just so happy. The first track off The Deftones debut album Adrenaline. Adrenaline was actually the last album I gave a listen to out of their four released, but I regret it, because it is currently my favorite. On to the review of this great disc: 1. Bored: What a way to start off a CD. Check out any Deftones album you can get your hands on, especially Adrenaline. Adrenaline is an appropriate title for this, Deftones' debut album, as all ten tracks explode with repressed energy. Unlike many of their contemporaries, Deftones are very controlled even in the midst of chaos. The musical attack is precise and well organized without sounding mechanical or soulless. Simply put, this music is the product of a good old-fashioned band, with every element of the music fitting together nicely. One of the practical ways in which this expresses itself is the way that Deftones groove, a skill that most nu-metal bands have somehow managed to lose along the way. Deftones Adrenaline.
