Future Rhythm is the fourth album from rap group, Digital Underground, and also marks their first independent release. The album spawned two songs that were featured in the Wayans brother's film Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood Food Fight, which showcases Humpty Hump and Del tha Funkee Homosapien trading verses, and We Got More with the Luniz, which is also featured on the films' soundtrack. The album also boasts an early performance from rapper Sly Boogy. Album 1996 14 Songs. Future Rhythm Digital Underground. On Future Rhythm, DU have added a concept of their own - namely, the record is a concept album about moving funk and hip-hop into the next century. Unfortunately, the music never sounds any different than the group's previous releases, with the notable exception of the exclusion of the good-time party raps that always ranked among the crew's finer moments.
