As the catalogue number implies (ONLY 1), only one copy of this release was intended. Approximately 5 copies ended up being made. It was created as a contest prize. In conjunction with Vancouver radio station CFOX and retailer A&B Sound, one winner would get 2 concert tickets, the Dire Straits CD catalogue, a Philips CD player, and to choose their very own track-listing for a Dire Straits album that would be created just for them. The eventual winner chose only 6 songs, making it more of a mini album than an LP as one side is approx. 17 minutes in length and the other is 14 minutes. While great detail and security was undertaken to ensure with both the printer and pressing plant that only one copy would be made, approx. 5 copies were made, along with a couple of spare sleeves.
