Album
Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Earthling Society were an English spacepsychedelic rock band formed in Fleetwood, England in January 2004 by vocalistguitarist Fred Laird and drummer Jon Blacow with bassist, David Fyall. The band's debut album Albion was self-recorded by the band on its own 8 track studio and Santiago, Chile's Mylodon Records, were set to release the album in March 2005 before pulling out. When the band was seeking a deal for their next album, Berlin-based Nasoni Records heard Albion and released it on CD and vinyl. Indeed, concerning this Earthling Society, imagine even a 60s San Francisco septetoctet 50 Foot Hose or the second album augmented Chocolate Watchband comes most immediately to mind, the kind in which at least half the members are fiddling with unidentifiable Buchla-type analogue synthesizers and weird Harry Partch percussion, whilst sure enough the other half have their eyes closed and are deluding themselves that its all the natural successor to the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Earthling Society is, in other words, pretty damn cool. Beltane Queen. When It All Comes Down. Universal Mainline. Buy this album. Earthling Society. Узнать больше. The album is a mind bending spaced out psychedelic rock experience featuring an unmistakable dose of westcoast psychedelia and patches of acid drenched folk. Long tracks provide enough time and space to unfold their improvisational and psychedelic moods. Mind expanding moods provided by soundscapes of distorted guitars, keyboards and a sometimes pumping and funky rhythm section. Topped off with haunting vocals. Julian Cope: I dig this beacuse it's psychedelic rather than just psychedelically styled, in other words pretty damn cool. More EARTHLING SOCIETY. Earthling Society biography The EARTHLING SOCIETY formed January 2004 in FleetwoodUK when singer songwriterguitarist Fred Laird and David Fyall met up with drummer Jon Blacow. Disillusioned with the current music trends and sharing a love of 70's progressive rock, krautrock and 60's psychedelia the band built a primitive 8 track recording studio in a corner of a disused glass factory. Albion' was initially released on Mylodon Records based in Santiago, Chile in March 2005, a move that Fred Laird described as a disaster. By August 2005 it became album of the month on Julian Cope's website Head Heritage
