Notes
Tracks 1-15: Recorded September 17-18, 1949, Carnegie Hall, New York, New York. Although previous releases suggested these performances comprised a continuous set, tracks 1-9 are from the evening's first set, while tracks 10-14 are from its second set, the midnight show that technically started on September 18.
Tracks 16 & 17: Recorded at Bushnell Memorial Hall, Hartford, Connecticut, September 19, 1953.
Tracks 18-22: Recorded September 17, 1954.
While tracks 18-22 have been noted in previous releases as recorded at Carnegie Hall, they appear to have been recorded at Bushnell Memorial Hall, Hartford, Connecticut. The JATP Carnegie Hall show was the next night, leading to some assumptions and subsequent discographical errors in re to this performance.
