Les Premieres Polyphonies Francaises XI Siecle' by Ensemble Gilles Binchois is one of the finest recordings of early music I have heard. I am not an expert in early music, but the reviewer in 'Grammaphone' gave this recording excellent marks on its technical aspects. All I an say is that it is very good listening and especially valuable as it includes sections with single voices, men voices in choir, and womens voices in choir, with both plainsong and polyphony.
