Anyway, the original version from In The Trees is a very organic sounding deep house track that sounds just like an actual band playing, oscillating somewhere between funk and disco. Absolutely timeless classic. The C2 remix again is Carl Craig at his best, creating an evil monster of a tune that sucks you into it, playing around with you to finally release you in the warmths and depths of the original, just when you're not expecting it. Great work. though somewhat predictable if you know Carl's way of remixing, but it sure works like hell and should destroy any floor. Faze Action are a British band, headed up by brothers Simon and Robin Lee. Over the years Faze Action blended electronica with classical, pan-African, and latin music. Their music is also heavily influenced by funk, disco, and jazz. The Lee brothers grew up in Amersham in the London commuter belt, they were both interested in music from an early age, Robin went on to study music at Goldsmiths College in London. The pair collaborated for the first time to produce the Original Disco motion EP in 1995. Shortly afterwards Robin moved to Osaka in Japan to work as an English teacher, mean read more. To launch the series, Faze Actions seminal deep house classic In The Trees is remixed by Carl Craig.
