Renegades is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Feeder. It was released on 5 July 2010. It was the first in a proposed series of two albums to be released in 2010 by the band, before its follow-up was delayed until 2012. It is also the first studio album not to be released on The Echo Label, and also their first since 2002's Comfort In Sound not to feature drummer Mark Richardson, who left the band the previous year. I have eagerly awaited this album since first hearing about 'Renegades', a side project that Feeder were touring in early 2010. The material played was Feeder going back to the days of their 'Swim' and 'Polythene' albums, a heavier rock sound which was lost with their later releases 'Comfort In Sound' and 'Pushing the Senses'.
