Hide AwayFrom Let's Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddy King Remastered. Freddie King. King's first album, Freddy King Sings, appeared in 1961, and it was followed later that year by Let's Hide Away and Dance Away With Freddy King: Strictly Instrumental. Throughout 1961, he turned out a series of instrumentals - including San-Ho-Zay, The Stumble, and I'm Tore Down. Hide Away or Hideaway is a blues guitar instrumental that has become a standard for countless blues and rock musicians performing today. First recorded in 1960 by Freddie King, the song became a hit on the record charts. It has been interpreted and recorded by numerous blues and other musicians and has been recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame. Although not always placed in the upper echelon of blues performers alongside the other Kings B. and Albert, Freddie King was a dynamo. He was both a powerhouse, imaginative guitarist and a glorious, soulful vocalist who could belt out come-ons, shout with gusto or wail in anguish. His instrumentals were also catchy, usually simply structured but vigorous and vividly articulated. I Love the Woman. Billy Myles. Freddie King - Hide Away. Freddie King - The Stumble.
