The Run of the Country is a 1995 American romantic drama film directed by Peter Yates. It is based on the novel by Shane Connaughton, and stars Albert Finney and Matt Keeslar. The story tells of a political and generational conflict in a teen romance and coming-of-age story in Ireland.
