Written-By Glen Burtnick, Reed Burtnicks name is quite known in the AOR of the universe since the 80s, more especially the excellent Talking In Code , his first solo album. An incredibly melodic, well written AOR music from 1986 that unfortunately got lost in the incredible musical year that was 1986. The album features guitarists Dann Huff of Giant and former Starz and Fiona man Bobby Messano, ex-Eddie money keyboard player Alan Pasqua, ex-Journey man Steve Smith, ex-Pages bassist Neil Stubenhau and drums provided by David Prater while the production was by Richard Landis. Talking in Code In Code. This song is by Glen Burtnik and appears on the album Talking In Code 1985. I've been trying to think of something to sayBut the words don't comeYou send that neon light my wayAnd I can't give it back. Gotta get a grip on myselfFighting to hold onLips move all by themselvesAnd we're. Talking in codeWay down low where we usually goIt ain't no secret but nobody knows itTalking in code. Glen Burtinicks Talking In Code is classy 80s AOR in sound, but songwriting is more meaty than your typical record from the genre. With no fillers in sight, this cult classic gives you almost forty minutes of pure pleasure, including many numbers that should have been alongside mega-rock hits of that era.
