Hooded Menace. Ossuarium Silhouettes Unhallowed' out Jan 26 via Season of Mist, now on pre-order Menace are a death-doom band formed in Joensuu, Finland in 2007 by guitarist Lasse Pyykkö, who had previously performed in a Finnish death metal band named Phlegethon. The band kickstarted their career by recording a 2-track demo titled The Eyeless Horde in 2007, which was released on 7 vinyl the following year. The band released their debut album, Fulfill the Curse, in 2008 followed by the highly acclaimed sophomore full-length album, Never Cross the Dead, in 2010. Hooded Menace: - Recorded 2011 at Horrisound Studios and at Bordercase Studio by Hooded Menace & Mikko Saastamoinen. Mixed 2011 at Horrisound Studios and at Transistor Studios by Lasse Pyykkö & Mikko Saastamoinen. Mastered 2011 at Transistor Studios. Ilsa: - Recorded in February of 2011 at Developing Nations. Mastered at Resonance Sound Studios. Hooded Menace was formed by Lasse also known from the cult Finnish death metal band Phlegethon and deathgrinders Vacant Coffin in the summer of 2007. In June 2011 Hooded Menace signed to Relapse Records. Hooded Menace are looking to spread their music to fans of totally heavy and ultra-crushing doom and old school early 90's style death metal.
