This was another detour for the great Ian Bostridge - as was 'The Noel Coward Songbook' see my Review for that title and no mistake, where all the Songs are sung in English. There are some real gems here particularly Tracks 'Sleep', 'Silent Noon', 'Come Away, Death' and 'Now Sleeps The Crimson Petal'. But for me, my ultimate favourite is 'Sleep' which is the second Song on the Album.
