The Illusion of Safety is the second album by American rock band Thrice. The album was recorded in Beltsville, Maryland. In July 2001, the group recorded The Illusion of Safety with producer Brian McTernan. Following this, the band performed on the Plea for PeaceTake Action Tour alongside Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, and Cave In in August and September. The Illusion of Safety is the second album released by the London based indie pop band The Hoosiers. It was released in the UK on 16 August 2010 and was preceded by the lead single, Choices which was released on 1 August 2010. The second single taken from the album was originally expected to be Unlikely Hero, but Irwin has stated on the Hoosiers' Twitter feed that this plan has been changed, and stated that the band will let you know what soon.
