This set of five pieces was recorded live inside an old church in Cambridge, MA. Both artists use ambient sounds to create slow-evolving drones. Hudak plays with sounds below the usual threshold of hearing, while Lescalleet concentrates on tape hiss, white noise, and ambient silence he records through cheap microphones and overamplifies. The resulting music is highly textural, almost processional, and feels like the analog answer to Otomo Yo. Figure .
