Shadows and Light is a 1980 live double album by the Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. It was recorded at the Santa Barbara Bowl in September 1979 on Mitchell's Mingus tour. It was released on CD October 25, 1990 by ElektraWeaRhino. A film of the concert was also released on VHS, LaserDisc and DVD. All tracks composed by Joni Mitchell, except where indicated. Actually although I love the album and love Joni, the DVD version was disappointing because too much of it was wasted on irrelevant bits of film footage clumsily cut into the footage of the concert.
