Joshua Radin born June 14, 1974 is an American singer-songwriter. He has recorded seven studio albums, and his songs have been used in a number of films and TV series. His most successful album, Simple Times, was released in 2008. Joshua Radin was born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, United States, to a Jewish family of Polish, German, Austrian, and Russian background. He studied drawing and painting at Northwestern University, following his college years. Citing the mythological flight of Icarus for the title of his fifth album, Joshua Radins Wax Wings is the singersongwriters first self-released LP. Without any help from a record label, Radin takes more creative risks here than ever before, which could be what gave him the feeling of flying so close to the sun.
