I don't give 5 stars often, but this album was simply one of those delightful instances where high expectations were met or exceeded. Musicianship is first class as usual in this recording made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of their first album Side Trips back in the sixties as stated in the nice liner notes. Cover of the Kaleidoscope's second album A Beacon from Mars, with album art by Tad Hunter aka San Andreas Fault. The album was a mix of Middle-Eastern, country, folk and rock musical styles. Greetings from Kartoonistan We Aint Dead Yet again brought together the same lineup, with Brotman contributing the instrumental, Klezmer Suite. Though invited, Lindley declined to participate.
