Album

The Song Remains the Same is the live soundtrack album of the concert film of the same name by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. The soundtrack was recorded 2729 July 1973 and released three years later on 28 September 1976 on Swan Song Records. The recording of the album and the film took place during three nights of concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden, during the band's 1973 North American tour. All songs were recorded by Eddie Kramer using the Wally Heider Mobile Studio truck, and later. Формируйте собственную коллекция коллекцию записей Led Zeppelin. Текст песни: I had a dream. Crazy dream. Anything I wanted to know, any place I needed to go Hear my song. People wont you listen now Sing along. You dont know what youre missing now. Title: The Song Remains the Same 1976. The film is enhanced by each of the band member's personal fantasies hallucinations, such as the opening scene which is awfully confusing the first time around in which Peter Grant, dressed in a 1930s black gangster suit drives a 1930s black Ford to a house and blasts everyone with a machine gun. The Album LP : Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same 1976. In 1976 a midnight screening of the film was organised by Atlantic Records before its release, at which label president Ahmet Ertegün reportedly fell asleep. The Song Remains the Same was finally completed by early 1976, 18 months behind schedule and over-budget. On Song Remains the Same you can hear the urgency and not much else. The live shows were an extension of the albums. Page went on and admitted that this album was hardly the best representation of their live material. Maybe its age, maybe its the remastering, but the 2018 reissue of THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME sounds a whole lotta love better than my LP. I have the original vinyl version of this that I got as a teen in the 80's. This is not quite the same album. Yes, there are the additional tracks and that is worth buying on CD for me. But, I can easily tell that some songs have been altered from the original versions on the LP. The Song Remains the Same was a film by the band Led Zeppelin. The concert was shot at Madison Square Garden in New York City during the band's 1973 concert tour of the United States. The band member's fantasy shots were filmed in different places. Jimmy Page's scene was filmed at the lake by his manor in Plumpton, East Sussex. His fantasy was at Boleskine House, Loch Ness. Robert Plant's scene was at his country farm with his wife and two children. His fantasy was filmed at the Raglan Castle in Wales. In the summer of 1973, Led Zeppelin were winding down the biggest tour of their career, a cross-country debauch-a-thon. By July, when they arrived at New Yorks Madison Square Garden, the band was drained and eager to get home. These arent the best conditions in which to record a live album, and The Song Remains the Same captured over three nights has few hardcore fans, even within the band. The two-disc document and its accompanying concert film, a mishmash of cock-rock struts and campy dream sequences was only released as a stopgap after Robert Plant was injured in a 1975 car accident, curtailing the bands touring regimen.
