It certainly sounds like an album of its time it has the drum sound of 1988. It also features an overall heavier vibe, with the band rocking like never before, emphasizing a love of hard rock only briefly hinted at on earlier albums, and it's all done very well. Some of the sonic changes may have been a result of the label's urging for the use of name producer John Leckie, an utterly confusing decision considering Mitch Easter's standing as a producer, not to mention his proven ability on previous Let's Active albums. Every Dog Has His Day is the tenth book in the Hank the Cowdog book series, a series of humorous children's mystery novels, written by John R. Erickson and illustrated by Gerald L. People come to the ranch for round-up, and bring along a border collie named Benny, who Hank does not like, and a beagle named Miss Scamper who Hank thinks he is in love with. High Loper ties Hank up and Benny takes his place to round up the cows. Hank attempts to get Drover to help him, but Drover runs away to see. Members owning this album0. Every Dog Has His Day. Let's Active sort of fell apart during the British tour for Cypress when Sara Romweber's unexpected exit disrupted the band and its collective effort feel. Rather than attempting to find a replacement, Mitch Easter opted to retreat into the studio and focus on music for the next record, and from Big Plans for Everybody on, Let's Active became more or less a Mitch Easter studio project.
