Ann Robie Bandes born c. 1961, better known as Little Annie, Annie Anxiety or Annie Anxiety Bandez, is a New York-born singer, songwriter, painter, poet, writer, performing and recording artist, pastor and stage actor. Little Annie began singing at the age of 16 with her band 'Annie and the Asexuals', formed in 1977. Upon moving to the UK in 1981 at the invitation of Steve Ignorant, she began working with Penny Rimbaud and Crass. On this scarce 12 from the On-U Sound camp, Little Annie aka Annie Anxiety features two extended mixes of album tracks. The matriarch of the On-U Sound label revisits Going for Gold on numerous releases, making it one her standards in dub second to the minor hit I Think of You and the Skip McDonald mix of As I Lay in Your Arms from the Annie Anxiety album Jackamo.
