Sir Ringo Starr's directorial work is mindful of touches used on Magical Mystery Tour 1967. Director . Of course, there is plenty of live material here, and the band sounds great - this was T. Rex at the peak of their powers, and while there are better-quality recordings out there, none recapture the sheer magic of the occasion like this one. Again, if you own or intend to pick up the CD soundtrack, you have no need to hunt this down as well. But across the 15 years or so when this was the only available version of the soundtrack, Born to Boogie filled the void very comfortably indeed
