Boris Stern. прекрасно было поставить на радио его ночью целиком - и покурить в окно . is an album by the group Marillion released in 1994. It was selected by Classic Rock in 2003 as one of 30 greatest concept albums ever made. After trying and failing to reach a wider audience with Holidays in Eden, Marillion figured it was time to go back to their roots and make a more progressive rock-oriented album again. Brave is a concept album, based on a news story Steve Hogarth heard on the radio about a girl who was taken into police custody after being found wandering the Severn Bridge. Marillion - Brave review: A dense, moody and atmospheric prog rock epic, highly recommended to fans of Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and similar bands. Forming in 1979, Marillion managed to gain moderate success in the 80s when prog rock was hated by much of the general public with their upbeat quirky early Genesis-inspired sound and lively singing of vocalist Derek Dick better known as Fish. After the 4th album in 1987 though, tensions between Fish and the rest of the band members caused him to leave the band. Marillion 07-02-1994. Общая длительность:4 h 26 min. Bridge 2018 Steven Wilson Remix. Композиторы: Ian Mosley - Mark Kelly - Peter Trewavas - Steve Hogarth - Steve Rothery. Living With the Big Lie 2018 Steven Wilson Remix. 1994s Brave is Marillions seventh studio album, and their grand return to progressive rock after two albums of trying out a more pop-rock sound. This album is a rock opera which tells the story of a suicidal young woman and her struggles with connection and alienation in a cold, uncaring reality. It was the bands most successful album since Steve Hogarth took over as the bands front man, peaking at 10 on the British album charts, and remained so until 2016, when their album reached 4.
