I own 10 of their releases but for the sake of this post Ill limit it to just my Miles Davis copies Get Up With It and Black Beauty. All three of the MOV releases I own sound great on my system. The music is well balanced and there is hardly any surface noise during the quieter sections. While the artwork is limited to just a gatefold and even though they dont come with any inserts it is still a very worthwhile and affordable purchase of 25 per 2 LP set. Collectors Choice will still have them if youre lucky. Agharta - Miles Davis. Live at Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan 1st Show. Исполнитель: Miles Davis. 1976 jazz. Agharta is a 1975 live double album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Miles Davis. By the time he recorded the album, Davis was 48 years old and had alienated many in the jazz community while attracting younger rock audiences with his radical electric fusion music. After experimenting with different line-ups, he established a stable live band in 1973 and toured constantly for the next two years, despite physical pain from worsening health and emotional instability brought on by. Along with its sister recording, Pangaea, Agharta was recorded live in February of 1975 at the Osaka Festival Hall in Japan. Amazingly enough, given that these are arguably Davis' two greatest electric live records, they were recorded the same day. Agharta was performed in the afternoon and Pangaea in the evening. Of the two, Agharta is superior. Listen free to Miles Davis Agharta アガルタの凱歌 Prelude Part 1, Prelude Part 2, Maiysha and more. 4 tracks 97:01. 35 results found. In Agharta we find Miles Davis further exploring the possibilities of Funk music, only this time fusing it with the aggressive rock-stylings of Bitches Brew and the atmospheric nuances of In A Silent Way. In the opening number, Prelude, we see the musicians taking apart genres and rebuilding them into a completely different sound. All compositions by Miles Davis.
