Comes in a clear tray with a brief description of the box set on the inside, and no front cover. Between 310 and 600 special promotional packages were made, containing the CD, a one page biography, and The Misfits Box Set booklet in a black folder with a Misfits sticker on it. The rest of the CDs were distributed separately.

The Misfits is a boxed set of material by the horror punk band the Misfits, released in 1996 by Caroline Records. Packaged in a coffin-shaped, velvet-lined box, the set includes four compact discs covering most of the band's recorded material from the years when Glenn Danzig was their singer and songwriter. It also includes a Fiend Club pin and a booklet containing photographs, song lyrics, a discography, and a history of the band written by their photographer and associate Eerie Von. The exterior. País: US. First pressing was limited to 50,000 copies with a 'Fiend Club' pinbadge and a special case for the Static Age CD. A Static Age CD Inlay Card was also included. Second pressing does not include the separate Static Age case or cd inlay card. Why Is Bullet missing from Collection 1 in this set & Last Caress is missing from Collection 2 The Version of Bullet on Static Age album is different from the 7 inch version of Bullet on Collection 1.
