Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles is a compilation album by the grunge band Mudhoney. The album contains the entire Superfuzz Bigmuff EP, the A-sides and B-sides of 2 singles, and 2 covers from split singles with Sonic Youth and The Dicks. It was released by Sub Pop Records in October 1990. The album is named after the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi and the Univox Super-Fuzz fuzzboxes, the title also being a play on words which gave the band their signature dirty sound. While the first half is a piece of grunge brilliance, the second half falls flat on it's ass. Album Rating: 5. The review's not bad, deserves a much higher score though. The singles are great but the EP itself is brilliant too. If I Think and Mudride are as good as any of the singles and just listen to In 'n' out of grace. If your ears are functioning properly you'll realise that it's one of the best songs to come out of Seattle Waterloo Sunset January 16th 2007
