Kilkenny's MY LITTLE Little Funhouse were a rock band from Kilkenny, Ireland in the early 1990s. After winning the Carling Hot Press band competition, they got signed to Island Publishing and went on, in late 1991, to sign what was Geffen Records' largest deal to that date: 2 million around the same time, Geffen signed Nirvana for 60,000. My Little Funhouse were an Irish hair metalhard core band, formed in 1991, in southeast Dublin area, releasing their debut album standunder on 1992. Alan Lawlor was the vocalist, Brendan and Anthony Morrissey the guitarrist brothers, and bassist Gary Deevy formed My Little Funhouse. Later Derek Maher, drummer, joined the band. They were pretty successful all over europe in late 1992 with their songs Anonymous and Raintown. They also released an EP with 5 tracks on it, in 1993 under Geffen label. My Little Funhouse singer Alan Lawlor definitely has a Scott-ish quality to his voice, but you won't find anything on this CD that sounds like Highway to Hell, Whole Lotta Rosie or any other ACDC favorite.
