The OM primarily gives its concerts in the Montreal Symphony House at Place des Arts, and also performs at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier and Théâtre Maisonneuve. Outside of the Montreal city centre, the OM also gives concerts in Saint-Laurent, Outremont, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Rivière-des-PrairiesPointe-aux-Trembles, Saint-Léonard, Verdun, Ahuntsic, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, and Pointe-Claire. Walter Boudreau Montréal, Canada, 1947 studied analysis and composition with Gilles Tremblay at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, Bruce Mather at McGill University and Serge Garant at the Université de Montréal. Recipient of numerous grants from the Canada Council , he continued his training with Messiæn in Paris, Boulez in Cleveland, and Xenakis, Ligeti, Stockhausen and Kagel in Darmstadt. Do you have any photos of this artist Add an image. Walter Boudreau, CM CQ born Sorel, 1947 is a Canadian composer, saxophonist and conductor. In 1969, he founded the group L'Infonie with Raoul Duguay, which dissolved in 1973. Since 1988, he has been the artistic director of the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec in Montreal. He was a principal collaborator in the Symphonie du Millénaire which took place in Montréal in 2000.
