He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays mainly electric guitar and percussion. 2012 Black Plume with Keith Rowe and Crys Cole Bocian. 2012 Raga Ooty, The Nilgiri Plateau Bo'Weavil. Generating subtle and imperfect sounds through haptic gestures and seemingly mundane materials, she creates textural works that continuously retune the ear. cole has performed in Canada, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, the USA, UK and throughout Europe. She has ongoing collaborations with Oren Ambarchi AU and with James Rushford AU under the name Ora Clementi. Cole pushes the established Ambarchi-Rowe pairing into rough, haptic modes. Together with Ambarchi's psychoacoustic tones and occasional frissons of shimmering reverb, her grainy mixer feedback and amplified objects give the music a spaciousness and depth which often escapes recordings of so-called 'electro-acoustic improvisation'. All three musicians seemed joined in what Rowe has called the 'rejection of virtuosity': they allow their individual voices to blend together into a constantly crumbling and self-reconstructing wall of electronic sonorities and amplified tex.
