Padmasana is a collaboration between Gio Makyo and David HIkari, a pair of Tokyo ambient djs, and the mysterious S. Widi, their spiritual advisor from Bali. This album was inspired by misty nights in Ubud and the mind-shattering oong mushrooms of Bali. The music takes you on a trip though inner and outer space, finally ending up back in the lush tropical ambience of Ubud at night. The album features field recordings, live performanc. The first Padmasana album has been in print on cd almost continuously since 1999, but we are down to less than 50 now, and the way things are these days, I don't think there will be another pressing. So if you want a piece of Dakini history, with the lovely digipack artwork, and a hard copy that will still be there when your hard drive fries -, this is your last chance.
